Becoming an HGV Driver with I Drive Driver Training HGV Courses

Before you may apply for an HGV driver exam, you must first have a complete driver's licence and an HGV licence requires a minimum age of eighteen years.

The D2/D4 paperwork is required in order to apply for your HGV licence. After that, a brief medical will be completed by a licensed doctor to verify your overall health.

Also, you need to take up the appropriate HGV driving courses for better and safe driving Experiences.

You must submit both your D4 and D2 form to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) after finishing your medical evaluation. Your photo card and driver's licence will also be sent. Every stage of this process will be assisted by us.

After processing your application, the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency will determine whether you are eligible to operate a long goods vehicle or not.
