Our new fast track courses are designed for those of you that are looking at taking advantage of the new licencing rules skipping the category c and going straight to c+e (articulated lorry)
HOW TO GET STARTED
Step 1: You need to undergo a LGV medical. The doctor will fill in form D4.
Step 2: You need to fill in form D2 and send your licence off to DVLA to apply for your provisional entitlement for C1 or C.
Step 3: When you get your licence back with the provisional entitlement, you can then book your LGV theory tests. You must pass all three theory tests: the Multiple Choice, the Hazard Perception tests, and the Driver CPC Case Study.
Step 4: Once you have passed the relevant theory tests, then you can go on to take your practical driving test.

We have the D2 and D4 forms. We have doctors in your area. We book your theory tests at a test centre close to you. We have a theory study package to help you pass your theory tests. We have modern easy to drive training vehicles. We will book your training and test on dates that suit you.
What does the driving test involve?
The Driving tests are now split into 2 sections, this is the same for all driving tests from c1 to Artic, Minibus to Coach.
1st The Off Road Manoeuvre - Module 3.a
1. Reverse exercise
2. Controlled stop
3. Uncoupling & re-coupling (only for cat C+E, C1 + E)
Once the off road exam has been passed you can move onto module 3/b
Module 3.A - On Road Driver
A. Firstly you will be asked Safety Questions
Relevant To Vehicle. (Show me / Tell Me Questions)
B. On Road Drive
1. Be able to move off from the side
of the road safely
2. Pull in & stop in a safe & convenient place
3. Complete an up hill start
4. Complete a down hill start
5. Show ability to drive your vehicle safely
